The concept was that we would launch each other's books: an idea, though mine, which I would quickly regret as I began to get to grips with economics and international migration policy (you can read more about Martin's book here). But launch we did, and we got a few laughs into the bargain. I even sold a handful of books! Despite my trepidation, it was actually fun to celebrate with friends, colleagues and family and Martin's understanding of the concepts behind my book was quite brilliant.
Now the next monograph should really, most definitely, be happening -- imminently...
